Red looks good on girls with dark hair. It depends on the shade and style, but usually red dresses don't look Christmassy unless its that time of year or you dress it that way with accessories. It would be easier to give color recommendations if knew what you looked like with a pic, but maybe a nice blue. Good luck!

but for your skin tone though i would reconmend a nice rich purple (in satin mabey) or a subtle mauv!
No not at all just dont do green accessories. Royal blue, deep purples, buttercup yellow, and ice blue would look nice. Good luck with the pagent thing, too. (:
red would be fine to wear at this time. its classy and bold. i would recommend almost any bold color because of your fair skin.
I would totally wear red it's a bolder color so you will really stand out with the judges!!!
