What do people mean when they describe someone as being a classic beauty?

Classic beauty is the defintion of a look that is timeless. Marilyn Monroe, Greta Garbo, Sophia Loren, Raquel Welch, and the list could go on......all of these women stand out as the picture of feminine, delicate, curvacious, stylish, and unique in their own way that transcend time. Some would say that the ';modern'; girls that fit this description would be Scarlett Johannsen, Kate Winslet, and Mrs. Cruise (yes, even her!)What do people mean when they describe someone as being a classic beauty?
I think of Greek statues and classic paintings and portraits.

Classic beauty is very refined features, symmetrical features, looks just as good without makeup as with, etc. The opposite of quirky pretty (like the girl with the nose that looks good on HER, not necessarily on everyone else). What do people mean when they describe someone as being a classic beauty?
classic beauty, to me, goes back to the onscreen bombshells of forever ago. Typically it means delicate features, clear skin, soft hair, innocent looking. I picture Marilyn Monroe and Betty Davis.
Perfect physical!
It means that people who lived from 1940 until 2007 would agree that u r beautiful
