How is beauty better than brains?

If you want to say brains is better, please also say why beauty is better. I'd rather have an answer to why beauty is better, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to see what the negative side may say in the debate I'm doing.How is beauty better than brains?
first of all i don't think Paris Hilton is good looking...she's yucky. second of all, yeah a good looking person can get as far as a really smart one and maybe even farther, but in the end their beauty will fade and they'll start thinking they haven't got anything left...and they're right 'cuz beauty was all they had and it's gone. on the other hand, one who's smart stays smart for the rest of his life and i think that's the advantage.


personally, i think the more stupid you are the more chances you have to be happy 'cuz you don't see the world in such a complex way as a smart person does, so maybe it is better to be good looking and not that smart after all (: or maybe not How is beauty better than brains?
People like to see beautiful things, even when it comes to people. Ever known someone who would date a person who they had nothing in common with but would stay with the person based solely on their looks? I think its an American infatuation that people have to be beautiful to be noticed. Brains can take you a lot further than beauty, which also fades over time (people tend to forget that). I prefer brains, but can't help to want beautiful also.

I agree. Pretty much the only reason ';pretty people'; get what they want is because they use people with brains to get everything they need.

people that have beauty can do just as well as people with brains. probably because they use the people with brains to get what they want for free. thats my thought
