How is beauty only skin deep? Why do people say beauty is only skin deep?
Because you could be the most beautiful person in the world, but have the ugliest personality.
';Beauty is only skin deep'; means just because someone is beautiful on the outside, it doesn't mean they are beautiful people on the inside. Why do people say beauty is only skin deep?
Because there is more to me than my God-given good looks.
And while skin can get burnt in an accident or wrinkled with age or be of any color appealing to some/not attractive to others......
I will remain beautiful to those that know me.
And while you may call it ';inner beauty or personality'; or whatever, truth is - intelligence and kindness bring a sparkle to the eyes and a radiance on the face that ';duh-ness'; or cruelty with symmetrical features can't beat.
Besides, beauty is subjective. What you find pretty may or may not appeal to me.
And pretty people are biologically superior ??
You mean they can't get cancer, or measles or coughs%26amp;colds or aids ?
because 'beauty is skin deep' basically means you're personality and if its not a 'nice' personality it makes you 'ugly'. i however don't belive in that term. i think it makes people who are less confident and insecure feel better about themselves.
basically, they are talking about the persons personality. the person in question is gorgeous, but has the worse attitude. That and as a person ages their beauty fades, so what made them beautiful in their youth is not there.
it is an old expression to say that what someone looks like does not neccessarily correlate to what sort of person they are on the ';inside';. beautiful looking people may be horrible personalities and vice versa.
There's another saying that finishes the other.
';Beauty is only skin deep but ugly is to the bone';
Just something people say to Elevate themselves cuz they are either ugly and have horrible personality anyways , also they are most likely just jealous of others too.
so they can eat my Sh!t for all I care .
its true
and what you will gain from some1 apperance ?
the true beauty is the manners.
